DESCRIPTION:A springtime road race through the idyllic campus of Wesleyan University in Middletown! Both races loop around campus\, while the 5K finishes\, the 10K takes another loop before a fast downhill finish on Old Church Street. The 10K is a USATF-CT State Championship race   expect an exciting\, competitive race finish. All finishers receive a high quality short sleeve technical shirt and enjoy a post-race party in Union Green\, adjacent to the finish line.\n\n\n\nNEW IN 2024: Take on the Spring Hustle to enjoy some extra motivation through the season! Choose the distances to personalize a challenge plan and achieve three race finishes in this new walker-friendly challenge. Sign up for Middletown in addition to any distance at the Rocky Neck Runfest\, 30K & 5K on April 27\; and at the UConn Health Half Marathon\, 10K & 5K on June 1 to crush the Spring Hustle and earn the special finisher medal.\n\n\n\nBe a part of the race tradition and donate nonperishable food to benefit The Amazing Grace Food Pantry\, which provides groceries to more than 1\,000 low-income households each month in the Middletown area.
