Chester/Deep River/Essex Division

Join the Chamber and our host, Studio Paradis, as we welcome the Middlesex United Way for an informative session on the newly updated ALICE report for Connecticut, greater Middlesex County, and the tri-town area. ALICE is an acronym for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed – representing the growing number of single adults and families who earn less than the basic costs of living.

Following the United Way, Rebecca Mead from the Middlesex County Revitalization Commission (MCRC) will present information on the 2026 Business Operating Grants application round. Middlesex County for-profit businesses (open at least two years, fewer than 50 employees, with income less than $8 million) are eligible to apply for grants up to $25,000.  Attend the meeting to learn more about ways to apply the grant funding to your business.
