Changes are Coming - What You Need To Know

In 2019, Connecticut joined the ranks of several states that have passed legislation establishing a system of paid family and medical leave, as well as made sweeping changes to Connecticut’s existing state Family and Medical Leave Act. While the application of state FMLA was previously far more limited, these programs, which become fully effective in January of 2022, will apply to nearly every employer in the State of Connecticut.

As the effective date of these changes draws nearer, and state authorities continue to work on shaping the structure and process for these programs, it is important that all Connecticut employers familiarize themselves with the requirements of these programs.

This seminar will discuss what is currently known, as well as what Connecticut employers can do to prepare for the substantial changes to come.
