Lenders Forum & Mini Expo

The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Connecticut Small Business Development Center announces that they are organizing a Small Business Lenders Forum and Mini Expo.  This event will be held in conjunction with the September 15, 2014 Chamber breakfast featuring Senator Chris Murphy at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell. 
 
The event will be actively promoted to business owners in the greater Middlesex County area and beyond who may now or in the future need to access funding from lending sources.
 
The event, which will run from 9:30 am to noon, will consist of two parts: a panel discussion and a mini expo of tabletop displays representing bank, non-bank and community lending sources available to small businesses.
 
The first segment, a panel discussion featuring bank, non-bank and community lenders will discuss key questions and concerns that many small businesses have about qualifying for and obtaining financing for their businesses.  Both pre-set questions and questions from the audience will be discussed in this one-hour segment.
 
At the conclusion of the panel discussion, audience members will be encouraged to network with the assembled group of lenders around their tabletop displays to learn more about each organization’s offerings and services.  This segment will last from 10:30 am to noon.
