Memorial Dedication for Senator Eileen Daily

The Valley Railroad Company is pleased to extend an invitation to you for a special memorial dedication to be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 1 Railroad Ave, Essex, to honor the many contributions of former ten-term (1992-2012) Connecticut State Senator Eileen Daily (1943-2015).
 
Please join us, together with members of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, the Connecticut Legislature, State officials, community leaders, and Eileen’s friends and family for the unveiling of a large bronze plaque in honor of her many contributions. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided.
 
The favor of a reply and number of guests attending is requested prior to September 20, 2019.
 
Eileen left an enduring legacy for her Senatorial district, as well as for all the citizens of Connecticut, through her work to enlarge the Valley Railroad State Park, to preserve and expand Gillette Castle State Park, to preserve the Chester-Hadlyme Ferry, to assist the efforts of The Goodspeed Opera House, and through many other initiatives. We look forward to the opportunity on September 26 to remember her many contributions.
