The Art Center at Futures Inc Art Exhibition & Sale

November 2021- Futures Inc in Middletown presents Art From The Heart art exhibition and sale at The Buttonwood Tree, 605 Main Street in Middletown.

This exhibition includes 25 works of art done by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, who participate in the Art Center at Futures Inc.

The art will be on display the entire month of November and all are welcome. We appreciate your support.

The Buttonwood Tree will host a Meet and Greet with Artists on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.

Futures Inc. is a Connecticut-based organization that serves the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its programs provide educational support, mentoring, transition planning, job training and placement, independent living and recreation, and community volunteerism for students and adults. Futures Inc. has centers and programs embedded in communities including West Hartford, Middletown, Hartford, Berlin, New Britain, and Norwich.
 
The Art Center at Futures Inc. is changing the future for students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through artistic expression and small business development. Individuals are afforded the opportunity to experiment with different artistic mediums to discover their passions and preferred creative outlets. Further support from Futures Inc. empowers individuals to establish a micro enterprise to sell their artwork and gain local exposure for their work through events and exhibitions.
