“MANAGING A MANSION!”

The speaker will be Deborah Moore, Executive Director of Wadsworth Mansion At Long Hill Estate, since the $5.6 million dollar restoration that was completed in 1999. She is responsible for the financial viability of the estate, maintaining the house and 103 acres of parklands, creating public events, and ensuring that some 65 brides each year experience the day of their dreams.  Prior to opening the Mansion she was owner/Innkeeper of the Inn at Chester, a 42-room full service country inn. After graduating from Colby College and Maine Maritime Academy she spent nine years at sea as a deck officer on oil tankers sailing on the West and Gulf Coasts.  She achieved the rank of Chief Mate.
